Esseco Group, was founded in 1920 as a sulfur dioxide producer in Trecate, Italy.

Esseco has grown to become a major global manufacturer of sulfur dioxide and its derivatives, including a full spectrum of sulfites, bisulfites, metabisulfites and thiosulfates.

Esseco exports much of its output to over 50 countries. It recently expanded its plant in Trecate, creating a 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility.
